About Dueck Auto Group

Dueck Auto Group is a growing Auto Group located in the lower-mainland. Our 3 GM Dealership, Dueck on Marine, Dueck Downtown & Dueck Richmond, carry the largest selection of new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, have an extensive pre-owned vehicle inventory and are fully equipped with service, parts and body shop departments. We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant mainly support our Regional Buyers.
In business since 2013, Transcan Leasing Corp has established itself as a premier automotive leasing company in the Lower Mainland. Servicing clients with credit challenges, we have experienced tremendous growth building for the next stage of our evaluation.

What your day may look like:
  • Review/collection of credit application documents for Buyer review
  • Communicate with Finance Managers at dealer to resolve questions, and obtain missing documentation where required
  • Follow-up on files in a timely fashion
  • Enter leads into the CRM system
  • Process leasing documents
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls

Logistical Requirements:
Our office is conveniently located near downtown Vancouver (Dueck Downtown dealership), close to Skytrain and Transit routes. The schedule requirements are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM (hours could be adjusted to meet the employee's needs).

Experience:
  • Administrative experience: 1 Year (preferred)
The Service Consultant (Advisor) is professional, customer-orientated, and technically knowledgeable individual responsible for meeting with customers to determine the extent of the automotive service required. The primary responsibility is to create a positive service experience for customers throughout the entire process by providing accurate estimates, clear explanations, and continuous updates. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Service Consultant ensures customer satisfaction in the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
The Service Consultant follows the general procedure below for each customer, requiring continuous vehicle progress tracking and advanced time management skills.
  • Greet - Promptly greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner while determining and assisting with their needs.
  • Examine - Conduct a walk-around inspection for each vehicle while actively listening to customer explanations, concerns, and inquires and accurately record the relevant information on the work order
  • Estimate - Calculate and prepare detailed cost and time estimates for the repair services
  • Assign - Send clear and concise work orders to the Service Tower for technician scheduling 
  • Explain - Clearly explain all technical issues identified found with the vehicle, as well as the necessary work completed and recommend additional repairs, parts, and services
  • Track - Continuously check inn with technicians for vehicle progress and update customers accordingly with approximate work completion times to ensure optimal CSI ratings.
  • Connect - Increase retention and maintain positive customer relationships by conducting post-service phone calls to ensure that customers are satisfied with their service and encourage completion of the General Motors Service Survey to evaluate the service experience.
  • Troubleshoot -  Resolve any conflicts or complaints with customers in a respectful and courteous manner, while informing Service Manager of escalated issues as necessary

Logistical Requirements:
  • The Service Department is open to customers six days a week - Mondays to Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a full-time position at our Dueck on Marine and Dueck Richmond locations. On occasion you may be required to work extended hours, included weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.

The Service Technician is a professional and technically skilled individual responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. This role requires an extensive range of knowledge and skills necessary to repair vehicle systems. Service Technician works closely with the Service Consultants to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, interpret and complete a variety of documents
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and tests to determine diagnosis
  • Report any additional safety or service repairs needed to the relevant parties
  • Perform vehicle repairs and service according to dealership and GM factory standards
  • Complete road tests to evaluate the quality of repairs
  • Comply with all safety regulations and policies to maintain a safe working

Technical Skills & Requirements
  • Valid Red Seal certification or 4th Year Apprentice
  • Minimum 1-2 years of service technician experience
  • Diesel engine repair experience is an asset
  • Physically capable of properly lifting up to 25 kg (55 lb)
  • Valid BC driver's license required and comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles
  • Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge
Logistical Requirements
  • This is a full-time position available at Dueck Downtown, Dueck on Marine, Dueck Isuzu and Dueck Richmond locations. On occasions, employees may be required to work extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.

The Body Shop (Collision Repair) Technician is a mechanically skilled individual whose primary responsibility is to complete the appropriate repairs and/or replacement of parts and structures of customers vehicles. The Body Shop Technician works closely with the Collision Estimator to ensure that customer vehicles are repaired properly and in the most time-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle and inspect vehicles to diagnose external and internal damage
  • Replace damaged parts
  • Repair or replace welded panels
  • Frame repairs
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following all regulations, standards, and policies

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary throughout the course of your employment.

Technical Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid Red Seal certification required 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in automotive collision repairs
  • Valid BC driver's license required

  • The Dueck on Marine Body Shop Department is open to customers five days a week - Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday. On occasion you may be required to work extended hours in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.

The Lot Attendant for our Sales or Service Departments is a self-motivated, punctual, and reliable individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative. The primary responsibility is to meet various deadlines for vehicle detailing and transportation, while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, move and park vehicles in assigned areas
  • Inspect vehicles for damage
  • Assist in cleaning vehicles
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work environment
  • Assist in general maintenance of the dealership

The Parts Driver is a highly motivated and reliable individual responsible for delivering parts to various locations throughout the Lower Mainland. The primary responsibility is to deliver orders to customers in a safe and timely manner while providing superior customer service. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the Parts Driver is a frontline customer service. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the Parts Driver is a frontline customer service representative contributing to operational efficiencies within the organization. This role is great opportunity for individuals interested in the automotive industry as there is a high potential for growth and advancement. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and park up parts and equipment to customers in a safe, timely manner
  • For all deliveries, ensure that payments have been received according to the invoice
  • For all pick-ups, verify that purchase orders match the given invoice
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records and complete log entries for daily deliveries and pick-ups, requesting signatures as necessary
  • Communicate with the Parts Department Team by reporting any delays or discrepancies

The Sales and Leasing Consultant is a professional, friendly, and self driven individual responsible for promoting and ensuring high customer satisfaction through the sale of new and used vehicles. The primary responsibility is to assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking question, listening carefully to their responses and needs, and clearly explaining production and payment options. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Sales & Leasing Consultant works closely with all areas of the business to enhance the customer experience and exceed targets in the Sales & Leasing Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
  • Guide customers by clearly explaining vehicle types and product performance features
  • Encourage customers to test drive vehicles and experiences the various benefits
  • Review payment and purchasing options including leasing and financing 
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, accessories, financing and leasing information, as well as updated competitors' products and pricing 
  • Follow and use the Dueck sales process, designed to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities
